“After getting quotes from several landscapers/designers, I was surprised by the general lack of creativity in the industry. As a result we put our project off for several years. We were referred to J Squared, and it has been a pleasure working with them. The process started with a discovery meeting, where we outlined what we were looking for. We threw some pretty standard and couple of unique requests at Jeremy (we wanted big impact, low maintenance and some edibles for animal life and kids). J Squared charges for design, which makes sense, you can take a design and hand it to another landscaper. Also, if you are going to charge for design services, you must be confident in your product. The design hit the mark, and J Squared had a large format printout that beautifully presented the concept, as well as supporting information on each of the plants. The design was unique and offered the creativity that we had been looking for, but didn’t know how to articulate. The project took about a week, the crew was efficient and courteous. We did complete the project in the fall so a few plants didn’t make the winter, however, they were replaced with no hassle. Very good experience from start to finish, we are looking forward to seeing the design mature over the next few years.”
