How do we get started?
Just call our office, email, or contact us through our website. One of our sales professionals will call you to gather information about your project goals, budget, and timeline. Once we determine that your project is a fit, we typically schedule an on-site consultation.
What if I’m unsure of a budget?
It’s okay if you don’t have a budget. A lot of people aren’t sure how much landscaping cost. During the initial phone call and the on-site consultation, we will provide some ballpark numbers to help you create a budget that’s in line with project expectations.
What happens at the on-site consultation?
During the consultation, you’ll show us around and give us an idea of the areas you’re wanting to address. We’ll discuss your goals and expectations and we’ll give you some of our ideas and possible solutions. This discussion serves as the starting off point for a proposal and a design or drawing (if needed). At the end of the consultation, we will tell you what the next steps will be. Depending on the situation, we may email you a proposal or set up the next meeting where we will present our plans and proposals.
do you charge a design fee?
In some cases we will charge a design fee, which is based upon the complexity of your project. We will provide a ballpark estimate during the initial phone call and a set price once we’ve seen the site. We use this fee to cover our time and expertise spent on site analysis, designing, and estimating the project.
What happens after the on-site consultation?
We get to work on your proposal. If the project is pretty straight forward (like a spring clean up or lighting installation), we provide a proposal during the on-site consultation or within a couple of days. If the project is more complex, we will send someone out to conduct a site analysis (typically our sales professional Amy) where they will gather measurements, pictures, etc. We typically take a week or two to develop the design and proposal.
